Unofficial taxi drivers at Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) approach arriving passengers before they reach the authorized taxi or shuttle desks, quoting fares of $80–$150 for rides that should cost $25–$40 via official transport. Drivers may claim the official booth is closed or that their vehicle is an "express shuttle." Once in the vehicle, additional fees appear.
