Moped and Quad Bike Rental Damage Fraud

Several moped and quad bike rental operators near Corfu Town harbour and Dassia resort manipulate the rental process to extract damage claims. They photograph pre-existing damage after return and attribute it to the renter, or withhold security deposits claiming damage that was present before the rental began. Some contracts are written in Greek only, with penalty clauses not verbally disclosed.
