Vendors near Petrovaradin Fortress and along Dunavska Street sell items presented as traditional Serbian handmade crafts -- embroidered textiles, Orthodox religious icons, and folk jewelry. Many items are imported mass-produced goods labeled as local work. Some vendors claim the icons are antiques requiring export permits but offer forged documentation for an additional fee.
