ATM and Card Skimming Near the Leaning Tower Zone

The Campo dei Miracoli area and Pisa Centrale train station have seen ATM skimming devices targeting the high volume of tourist cash withdrawals. Skimmers are most commonly found on standalone non-bank ATMs on Via Santa Maria and near the station on Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. Card data is cloned and used for online purchases before the victim notices.
