Music Bar Tab Hidden Charges

Craft beer bars and music venues in the Recife Antigo entertainment district, particularly on and around Rua do Apolo, present menus without prices or with prices only for single servings while charging table minimums and artist contribution fees that are added at bill time. A round of drinks can double in price with unexplained charges. These are not disclosed upfront and are applied discretionarily to tourist-appearing patrons.
