Counterfeit booking websites sell advance entry tickets for the Real Alcázar and the Cathedral with tower climb at inflated prices or fail to deliver valid tickets at all. The Real Alcázar in particular sells out weeks in advance, which scammers exploit by positioning fake sites in paid search results targeting visitors desperate to secure entry. Some sites charge €5–15 above the official price and deliver PDF tickets that are rejected at the gate.
