Lottery Ticket Winning Claim

Strangers approach tourists near Sule Pagoda or Bogyoke Aung San Market claiming to have won a lottery prize but being unable to collect it themselves due to citizenship or ID restrictions. They offer to split the winnings if the tourist pays a small processing fee of USD 20–100. No prize exists—this is a classic advance-fee variation. The scheme is sometimes run by a pair of operators who play buyer and seller to create false credibility.
