Strip Club Tout Trap

Touts stationed in Albufeira's Old Town strip near Rua Candido dos Reis aggressively recruit tourists into clubs with promises of free entry and cheap drinks. Once inside, heavily marked-up drinks are ordered on the tourist's behalf without consent, and inflated bills are presented at the end backed by intimidating bouncers. Tourists have reported being charged hundreds of euros for a few drinks.
