Unofficial "City Guide" Persistent Touts

Unsolicited self-appointed guides approach tourists near the Water Taxi Terminal and around the Museum of Belize offering to walk them through the city for free, then demand payment at the end of the tour. Some guides lead visitors to specific craft shops or restaurants where they receive a commission, inflating prices for tourists.
