Social media accounts and WhatsApp groups posing as Dahab dive schools advertise PADI and SSI open-water courses at 30–50% below market rate, collecting a deposit via bank transfer or Western Union to secure the booking. On arrival, the referenced school has no record of the booking, and the social media account is unreachable. Legitimate Dahab schools do not take payments via informal transfer apps.
