Windsurf Equipment Damage Deposit Theft

Several informal windsurf and kite rental operations on Essaouira's main beach south of the ramparts collect large cash security deposits for equipment, then fabricate or exaggerate pre-existing damage claims when the gear is returned in order to retain part or all of the deposit. The dispute arises after you have already committed your money.
