Online Scams in Luxor

Fake Luxor Temple E-Ticket Website

Fraudulent websites mimicking the official Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities ticketing portal sell fake or invalid e-tickets for Luxor Temple, Karnak, and the Valley of the Kings. Tourists arrive at the site with what appears to be a valid PDF ticket and are turned away, then pressured to purchase again at the gate from nearby touts offering "discounted" entry. The fake sites often appear in paid Google search results.
