Fansipan Cable Car Queue-Jump Scam

The Fansipan cable car at Sun World Fansipan Legend, which provides access to the summit of the highest peak in Indochina, frequently has long queues. Touts operating near the cable car terminal offer to sell priority passes or faster-access tickets for 200,000 to 500,000 VND above the standard rate. These passes are either non-existent, counterfeit, or duplicated from legitimate tickets that have already been used, and are not accepted at the turnstile.
