Near the entrance to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in North Vancouver, individuals posing as unofficial guides approach tourists offering to show secret viewpoints and hidden trails not accessible with standard tickets. After leading visitors on a short detour, they demand payment of $20-$40 CAD and become aggressive if refused. The park does not employ external guides, so anyone soliciting outside the gates is operating a scam.
