Livingstone Island Picnic Lunch Bait-and-Switch

Some informal "tour guides" at Victoria Falls Rainforest entrance and the Zambia border crossing offer bundled "Livingstone Island lunch" packages at prices significantly below the legitimate Tongabezi Lodge rate. On arrival, the so-called lunch is either a basic picnic with poor quality food far from the actual Livingstone Island site, or the guide disappears after collecting partial payment. The legitimate Livingstone Island experience is a premium offering bookable only through approved operators.
