Fraudulent sellers advertise Wroclaw city transport cards (Urbancard) at below-market prices on Facebook Marketplace and local classified sites, targeting tourists who want to save on public transport costs. The links redirect to phishing sites designed to capture bank card data rather than deliver a valid transport card. Victims discover the fraud at tram ticket validation points when the card fails to register, by which point card data has already been compromised. Polish cybersecurity sources flagged this specific tactic as an emerging fraud method targeting foreign visitors in Polish cities.
