Jeju Pension Fake Listing and Advance Fee Fraud

Jeju Island has a large supply of independently run pension-style guesthouses. Fraudulent listings on Korean-language classified sites (Naver Cafe, Daangn) and occasionally on international platforms advertise sea-view pensions near Jeju City or Seogwipo at below-market rates, collect full payment, then vanish. The scale of legitimate short-term rentals on the island gives these scams plausible cover.
