Fraudulent websites clone the branding of popular White Sand Beach and Lonely Beach bungalow resorts on Koh Chang, listing heavily discounted prices to attract direct bookings. After payment via bank transfer the booking confirmation either never arrives or cites a non-existent property. Victims arriving at the real resort find no record of their reservation and are refused the rate they paid.
