Beachfront restaurants along White Sand Beach and Klong Prao display plastic menu folders, but prices for seafood dishes are sometimes negotiated verbally at a lower rate and then billed at the higher menu price. Service charges of 10-15% are added without disclosure. Some restaurants lack clearly posted prices entirely and charge whatever the tourist appears willing to pay.
