Holiday rental listings for Varna apartments and Golden Sands villas on social media and third-party sites show attractive photos but provide accommodation significantly below what is pictured. In some cases, the property is real but the advertised amenities — pool access, sea view, air conditioning — are not available, and no refunds are given. Cash-in-hand bookings at the resort entrance are also a common vector.
